No. No plate is read, no face is recognised: the only images that leave the box are short H.265 videos at 256×144 pixels, and only anonymous statistics (counts, speeds, vehicle classes) ever leave the box. That is the “GDPR by design” principle.
Counting per lane and per direction, the radar speed of every vehicle, its class (pedestrian, cyclist, motorcyclist, e-scooter, unicycle, car, caravan, truck, bus, train, tractor), traffic saturation (jams), noise level and, as an option, air quality (PM1 / PM2.5 / PM10).
The AI camera covers a 42.5° cone reaching 70 m, as shown in the model above; the radar measures the speed of each vehicle in that zone, lane by lane and in both directions.
On a simple 60 to 114 mm pole, 2 to 4 m high, with no civil works: a pole clamp and pointing it at the road are enough. Lanes, their direction and their saturation are then identified automatically.

Yes: the boxes exchange with each other over 4G and LoRa (long-range radio, no operator needed). One box can thus trigger the relays of another: relieving a neighbouring junction, driving a sign or a light remotely, coordinating several sites along the same road.
Standard-exchange warranty for the whole duration of the subscription (1 to 10-year packs), vandalism included up to one exchange per year; solar panel and battery covered for one year. Theft is not covered (see the general terms of sale).
